Water resistant printer paper is a functional packaging paper produced by applying a water-based functional coating to the surface of base papers such as kraft paper, bamboo pulp paper, or paperboard. Unlike traditional PE-coated paper, this product uses a thin water-based coating that contains no plastic film and can be repulped and recycled after disposal. Food-grade grades comply with food contact safety standards. The coating provides effective water resistance and moisture protection, making the paper suitable for applications where exposure to liquids or humid conditions is expected. The weight range covers 70 to 350 gsm, with different grades serving different purposes.

Weight Range & Application Segments

 

Thinner grades from 70 to 120 gsm are used for waterproof paper bags, moisture-proof liners, and logistics moisture barriers. Some heat-sealable grades in this range can replace PE-laminated bags. Mid-range weights from 130 to 200 gsm are the most widely used, serving as base material for paper trays, bowls, and soup containers. These grades effectively block soup leakage and withstand condensation from cold drinks and chilled products. Heavier grades from 210 to 350 gsm are used for large paper bowls, hot pot containers, seafood frozen packaging, and industrial moisture-proof panels. These heavier grades perform well in humid warehouse and ocean freight environments. The coated surface is smooth and accepts flexo and offset printing, suitable for branded packaging presentations.

Zhejiang Xinzhongxin Paper Industry Shares Co., Ltd. was established in April 2011 with a registered capital of 10 million RMB. The company operates two production bases in Jiaxing and Wenzhou, with approximately 8,000 square meters of factory and warehouse space. To ensure stable supply and shorter lead times, the company maintains a raw paper inventory of about 15,000 tons. The facility is equipped with two imported high-speed slitting machines and six rewinding machines, with a maximum processing width of approximately 2,400 mm. Additional equipment includes clamp trucks, forklifts, and company-owned transport vehicles. Monthly production capacity is about 2,000 tons, with an annual capacity of approximately 20,000 tons.

The company supports OEM and ODM services. Product selection advice is available based on water resistance level, heat-seal requirements, food contact needs, and processing method. The standard minimum order quantity is one container, approximately 25 tons. Paper samples can be provided before mass production for customer testing. Lead time for standard products is typically 1–2 months; custom-made products require 2–3 months. Payment terms are 30% deposit with 70% balance before shipment for standard products, and 50% deposit with 50% balance for custom orders. Products are packed in kraft paper with round corner protection for international shipping. A 6-month warranty is provided.
