Coloured Greaseproof Paper

Coloured greaseproof paper is a functional packaging paper produced by applying a water-based grease-resistant coating to food-grade virgin wood pulp paper. The coating forms a dense barrier that effectively blocks cooking oil, animal fats, sauces, and liquids from penetrating the paper. When in contact with oily foods, the paper stays opaque and does not leak, keeping the outer surface clean and dry. The greaseproof level can be customized based on customer requirements. The weight range covers 40 to 120 gsm, making it compatible with high-speed bag-making, die-cutting, and folding automation lines.

In the quick-service restaurant segment, the product is used for burger wraps, fried chicken packaging paper, french fry bags, sandwich paper, and hot dog wraps. These applications require resistance to hot oil contact without softening or leaking. In the baking industry, the paper is used for bread bags, pastry bags, baking tray liners, cake interleaving paper, and pizza paper trays, where it blocks butter and shortening penetration while maintaining moderate breathability to prevent sogginess. For fried snacks and cooked food applications, the paper serves as oil-resistant takeout bags and liner papers for fried chicken, potato pancakes, stewed meats, barbecue items, and crayfish. The product uses food-grade coating formulations and meets food contact material safety standards in multiple countries. In addition to traditional PE-coated grades, the company offers fluorine-free water-based eco-friendly options that contain no PFAS and are recyclable, suitable for export markets with environmental requirements.
