Product Overview
Unbleached kraftliner is a heavyweight packaging board made primarily from sulfate softwood pulp. The board is stiff with a flat surface, offering high stiffness, high ring crush strength, burst resistance, tear resistance, and fold resistance. Finished cartons resist collapse and stacking pressure. Product categories include virgin kraftliner, mottled white kraftliner, and recycled kraftliner, available in natural brown, white-top, and coated grades. The weight range covers 150 to 450 grams, primarily used for structural support and compression-resistant packaging applications such as corrugated box linerboard, folding cartons, paper containers, file boxes, and heavy-duty packaging. Supply forms include rolls and sheets, supporting printing, die-cutting, creasing, extrusion coating, and lamination processes.
Product Positioning
The role of kraftliner in the packaging industry differs distinctly from kraft paper. Kraft paper is lower in weight, thinner, and more flexible. Kraftliner is heavier and board-like with thicker, more rigid construction. Natural brown kraftliner offers high cost-effectiveness and is widely used for corrugated box linerboard and industrial packaging. White-top kraftliner has one white side and one natural side, with a printing surface that is white and clean, used for folding cartons and premium packaging. Coated kraftliner has a coated surface with better gloss and print results, used for premium gift boxes and food containers. Recycled kraftliner uses recycled pulp as the primary fiber source, offering lower cost and moderate strength for non-heavy-duty packaging.

Applications
In the corrugated box industry, kraftliner serves as outer liner and inner liner, combined with corrugated medium to produce outer packaging boxes for heavy products such as appliances, furniture, machinery, and hardware. Export ocean freight cartons require higher burst resistance and moisture resistance. In the folding carton and premium gift box industry, white-top and coated kraftliner are used for electronics packaging boxes, cosmetic gift boxes, and liquor gift boxes. In the paper food container industry, food-grade kraftliner is used for disposable paper cups, paper bowls, takeout paper trays, and baking takeout boxes. In paper bags, tags, and stationery applications, heavier kraftliner is used for high-load carry bags, apparel tags, file boxes, and book covers.

Supply & Ordering
Zhejiang Xinzhongxin Paper Industry Shares Co., Ltd. maintains sufficient inventory of kraftliner, with about 15,000 tons of raw paper inventory including roughly 8,000 tons of natural brown kraftliner and 1,500 tons of coated kraftliner. The company operates equipment with a maximum processing width of 2,400 mm. Food contact applications require food-grade kraftliner selection and test report confirmation. Heavy-duty export packaging should prioritize virgin kraftliner. Color printing should use white-top or coated kraftliner. The standard MOQ is one container (about 25 tons). Standard lead time is 1–2 months; custom products take 2–3 months. A 6-month warranty is provided.
