Silicone greaseproof paper is a release paper produced by applying a silicone oil coating onto the base paper surface. Its core functions include release/non-stick performance, grease resistance, water resistance, and high-temperature resistance (standard 180–230°C). The product is classified by application into food-grade and industrial-grade, and by coating application into single-side silicone and double-side silicone. Base papers include glassine paper, wood pulp paper, and bamboo pulp paper. The weight range covers 40 to 150 grams. Food Applications
In baking applications, silicone greaseproof paper serves as oven and air fryer baking tray liners, cookie, bread, and cake baking non-stick paper, cake roll release liners, and pastry baking separators. It facilitates easy release and reduces tray cleaning. In steaming, boiling, and frying applications, it serves as steamer liner paper for non-stick performance, barbecue and fried food liner paper, and frozen dough release paper to prevent freezing adhesion. In food packaging liner applications, it serves as interleaving paper for candies, chocolates, and nougat, oil-resistant liners for burgers, sandwiches, and pastries, and frozen food release paper where grease does not penetrate and release is easy.
Industrial Applications
In the adhesive and label printing industry, industrial-grade silicone paper serves as self-adhesive label liner, protecting the adhesive layer for easy release during application. It also serves as release liner for double-sided tape, foam tape, and die-cutting backing paper, protecting adhesive surfaces from self-adhesion. In the electronics and new energy industry, it serves as release carrier for insulation adhesives, conductive adhesives, and protective films, as well as isolation paper for mobile phone components and new energy battery adhesives and foam gaskets.
