Extensible Kraft Paper

Extensible Kraft Paper is made from long-fiber wood pulp and processed through special extensible treatment, giving the paper excellent tensile elongation properties. Unlike ordinary kraft paper that tears directly under stress, Kraft Paper absorbs impact energy through deformation when pulled, impacted, or dropped, significantly reducing the probability of bag rupture. The product is available in natural brown Kraft Paper, white Kraft Paper, and semi-Kraft Paper. The weight range covers 45 to 150 grams. The product is widely used for heavy-duty industrial valve bags, cement and chemical powder packaging, grain and food packaging, and container air bags for high-strength packaging applications.

The core performance of Kraft Paper lies in the synergistic effect of high elongation and impact resistance. Ordinary kraft paper has low elongation and minimal deformation under stress. Impact energy is concentrated locally, causing direct tearing. Kraft Paper has high cross-direction elongation. When a filled bag is dropped, the paper stretches and deforms to buffer impact forces, effectively preventing bag rupture and leakage. In industrial powder packaging, Kraft Paper is the preferred paper for cement bags, putty powder bags, tile adhesive bags, lime powder multi-layer valve bags, and carbon black, white carbon black, chemical powder, and mineral powder heavy-load packaging bags. These bags typically use 2 to 4 layers of Kraft Paper composite valve bags. During filling, handling, and dropping, the extensible property buffers impact and reduces bag breakage rates. In grain and food packaging, food-grade Kraft Paper is used for flour bags, wheat flour bags, rice and grain bags, feed and pet food heavy packaging bags, and dried goods and nuts large composite paper bags. In logistics protection and cushioning packaging, Kraft Paper serves as the main paper for container air bags, withstanding inflation pressure and cargo compression impact. It is also used for metal coils, profiles, and component wrapping, providing cushioning protection during transport. In construction and electrical applications, it is used for building moisture barrier liners, roofing release paper, and cable wrapping paper.
